Tin-plated steel referred to as “white iron” is extremely lightweight while retaining all its strength and resistance properties. 

 

This metal may be cut, for extraction of solidified products such as clarified butter for example. In the case of liquid oils, the jerry cans usually have a large diameter neck.

 

The choice of a machine is therefore based on a notion of production volume, versatility of use ad the degree of automation of the packaging process.

 

Due to the low neck height, base-transfer of containers is the only option available.
